Role
Working closely with the Operations Director, the Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of projects. This will include the quoting, supplier selection, oversight of manufacturing process, fabrication, assembly, and quality control for point of purchase retail displays.
A strong team member, the Project Manager will coordinate projects within departments and with other members of the Management team within the business as well as external clients and suppliers. Core responsibilities:
Project Management
Management of process for assigned projects
Deal with client queries and feedback efficiently and professionally
Both “ballpark” and specific estimating of projects and components in terms of time, cost, and margin
Assess and select suppliers, negotiate and purchase required components within established budgets in conjunction with Office and Purchasing coordinator
Establish supplier production schedules and quality plans to meet client and internal specifications
CPA creation and maintenance
Liaise with Departmental Managers and internal production to ensure delivery of high-quality output
Monitor production to ensure quality standards and delivery schedules are met
Develop, monitor, and analyse project plans to include total cost, quality, delivery etc.
Serve as a technical resource on related matters such as materials, estimates and production needs
Ensure health and safety standards are met and security of warehouse is upheld
You may be called upon to support other members of the team in areas such as but not limited to assembly
Part of the decision process in project financial decisions

Lean Manufacturing
Implement Lean tools and processes to improve areas of work
Key Skills and Knowledge
5+ years of related industry experience and a Bachelors’ Degree in Business, Design, Engineering or Supply Chain preferred
Experience in communicating with manufacturing suppliers and clients
Ability to read and interpret engineering documents
Strong written and oral communications skills including technical writing
Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with ability to react quickly to changing circumstances.
Knowledge and experience with wood, plastics, injection moulding, extrusions and metal forming for manufacturability and their associated processes
Skilled in simplifying and communicating complex technical concepts effectively to designers, suppliers, and shop floor personnel
Good Excel skills and knowledge of other Microsoft Office software
Work well in a team or individually, completing specified tasks under own initiative or under direction
Passionate about work and success, energetic and engaging, assumes ownership of work
Flexible and able to self-manage time and schedules in a deadline driven environment
The ability to work in a logical, systematic manner

Salary: £30,000.00 to £38,000.00 pa depending on skills and abilities that meet the job description.
